10.45pm The Black Lagoons
It feels like forever since The Black Lagoons last played the weekly Sesh night, and a lifetime ago since they first grace The Polar Bear Stage. The York four piece specialise in Heavy psychedelic sludge to spooked garage surf.
10pm Mother Vulture
Courtesy of our own Max Lilley, Bristol four piece, Mother Vulture make the long journey up North for their Sesh debut.
With a live show as hectic and energetic as the stampede that killed Mufasa, they aim to leave you with permanent hearing loss with their pedal heavy riffiness.
Influenced by: RATM, Wolfmother, System of a Down, Moriaty, Crobot, Mastodon, HECK, The Bronx, Every Time I Die
9.15pm Yasmin Coe
Part of a family steeped in Hull music scene folklore, Yasmin Coe is beginning to curve her own path, having put some serious time into writing, recording, and playing live over the past year.
Still only seventeen years of age, Yasmin’s band has adopted some esteemed pro Hull faces most recently, but her indie pop sensibilities still remain, she’s part of a young movement developing within the city that we hope can push Hull further, we’re delighted to have her return to the weekly Sesh night.
DJs til 2.30am!
